Our home city of Los Angeles as well as the rest of the world are currently in a state of crisis and O’Gara is committed to take action in one of the most difficult times in American history.
While this is clearly a time of distress facing these systemic issues, we find hope in a community that stands together in the fight against police violence, aiding in the cause of racial justice and showing support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

1. Justice for George Floyd

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons. You can help by becoming a member, supplying donations, participating in Empowerment Programs, and more.
3. ACLU
Founded in 1920, The American Civil Liberties Union works in the courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to all people in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
4. Campaign Zero
Developed with contributions from activists, protesters and researchers across the nation, Campaign Zero is a comprehensive platform of research-based policy solutions to end police brutality in America.
5. Black Visions Collective
Minnesota’s emerging Black leadership group, BLCV, has been a political home to practice healing and transformative justice principles in powerful campaigns.
6. Black Lives Matter
#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities.
Today, we are making a corporate donation to the George Floyd Memorial Fund, as well as our longtime partner, the House of Ruth, which is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, education, therapy, housing, child care and more to women and families escaping domestic violence. Nonetheless, there is still more work to be done and we look forward to being a part of the change by continuing to educate ourselves and act in solidarity with the Black community.
