In 2016, Bentley made the bold decision to launch the companies first ever SUV. In the ultra luxury market, SUV’s are now commonplace thanks to the ground breaking Bentayga. Over 100 years of building some of the worlds greatest cars go into each Bentley model and the SUV is no different. Becoming their best selling model, it became evident that the SUV market is the most popular for a reason, and it doesn’t stop at the average consumers market. But after four years of incredible success it was time for an update. Not a redesign or a refresh, but an evolution.

For the new Bentayga, every panel on the front and rear of the vehicle has been updated adopting the brand’s latest design language it introduced on the new Continental GT and Flying Spur. In the front, updates include a larger, more upright grille and an elliptical headlight design. The more upright grill gives the front end more presence and helps to separate it from the GT’s styling. There are bigger changes at the rear with elliptical taillights and a new, full-width tailgate. Bentley also moved the license plate into the bumper to give the rear gate a smoother, more refined look and redesigned the tailpipes to mimic the new taillight shape.

One the inside, Bentley has made several improvements, installing a new steering wheel and door trim panels. The dashboard that now houses the 10.9-inch infotainment screen, one of the largest in it’s segment. Bentley even removed the round center air vents, with a single one that incorporates the Breitling clock. The Bentayga can seat four or five passengers, or expand that to seven with the optional third row. Those who opt for the five-seat layout receive new seat frames and optional rear-seat ventilation.

While the 2021 Bentayga’s updated exterior design is the most noticeable update, Bentley made several smaller tweaks and new options throughout the SUV. There are two new exterior colors and a brand new 22-inch wheel design that’s available in two finishes. Bentley updated the head-up display to show traffic information, street names, and more. Wireless Apple CarPlay is now offered, too. We’re very excited about the new evolution of Bentley’s best selling vehicle.
