On Thursday’s we like to turn back the odometer and take a look at some of our favorite memories. Back in 2017 we we able to see the Aston Martin Vulcan on the track for the first time at The Thermal Club. Below is a recap of that day.

Last month Aston Martin Beverly Hills hosted a track day at Thermal Club. The purpose was to introduce clients and friends to the new DB11. It gave them a chance to take one around the track as well as experience some of the other models offered by Aston. It was a beautiful day, and fun was had by all. However, one car stole the show.  The incredibly rare and powerful Aston Martin Vulcan.

The Vulcan, a track only vehicle, was limited to only 24 to ever be produced.

Some specs about the car:

  • The 7.0 Liter, 800+ HP, V12 is one of the most powerful ever created by the storied car builder.
  • The engine is mounted on an aluminum alloy chassis and carbon fiber body.
  • The Vulcan is fitted with carbon ceramic brakes, magnesium torque tube with a carbon fibre propeller shaft, limited-slip differential, Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox and has a curb weight of 2,980 lbs.

Getting to see a car of this rarity is already a treat, but something this brutally powerful and yet stunningly beautiful made the day quite special. Made even more special was putting it in the hands of Top Gears Stig, Ben Collins.
