From the company that developed the acclaimed “Bugatti Baby II”, The Little Car Company has collaborated with Aston Martin to create an exact mini replica of the famed DB5.

The DB5 Junior is a kid-sized battery-operated classic car that reflects the larger scaled model down to exact details, paying homage to the British brand’s rich automotive history of the DB5. Coming 50 years from the original launch, this smaller model is set to be coveted by car collectors and enthusiasts with a modern yet classic addition.

Made to be enjoyed by generations below, this new Aston Martin DB5 Junior is built only 66% of the original scale model, but still hosts the same handcrafted features – and just like the original, only 1,059 of these models will be made. Interior details will include aluminum and mahogany steering wheel, leather seats, replica Smiths instruments, original DB5 clock, authentic Aston Martin badges, and more.

The model will also feature rear-wheel-drive, fully electric powertrain, double-wishbone front and live-axle rear suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a similar sport hydraulic handbrake reaching speeds of up to 30 MPH. But don’t worry about your little ones getting too much need for speed – four driving modes ensure safety precautions for these lucky future racers. Aston Martin is also incorporating swappable lithium-ion battery packs and regenerative braking coinciding with their new technological era.

As production is limited and these models extremely coveted, owners of original DB5s will be given first refusal of the Aston Martin DB5 Junior with UK pricing starts at £35,000 and £40,000 for the DB5 Vantage Junior.
