You never really think about the logistics behind O’Gara Coach’s Sunset GT, our quarterly auto show in Sunset Plaza, a behind-the-scenes video of a Bugatti unveiling or O’Gara MotorSport McLaren GT4 photo shoot.
However, O’Gara Coach wouldn’t be the auto empire that it is without our loyal parters that help us in creating our massively successful events. JP Logistics is one of these treasured partners and long-time friends that have been with our auto company for over 15 years, and is responsible for safely transporting hundreds of our luxury vehicles and race cars.
George Sukunyan, Founder & CEO JP Logistics & Motorsports, describes the successful logistics business based in Los Angeles as “the leader in automotive logistics providing vehicle transportation via ground, air and ocean as well as fleet management, storage, detailing and event management.” The auto company owns and operates a fleet of 40 trucks and a network of 20 terminal and storage facilities across the US varying from the Los Angeles area, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Miami, Boston, and more.
O’Gara Coach has used the logistics and transport company for countless luxury events such as unveilings, auto shows, private deliveries, and within our O’Gara MotorSport facility at The Thermal Club located in Palm Springs.
Like many of our O’Gara luxury partners, JP Logistics has been using this time of global crisis to give back and empower the local community. Sukunyan stated, “JP Logistics has partnered with World Central Kitchen and Feed the Front Line to give back to our front line hero’s. 10% of all net sales and all donations go directly to WCK to provide meals for front line hero’s.” The company has taken pride in creating a wireless and paperless Transportation Management System to maintain social distancing as well as making sure to keep on all hired employees in this time of financial challenges and uncertainty.
When asked about tips on how to adjust to this new normal, the Founder and CEO responded, “I always say this and I believe in it; life doesn’t stop, just do your part and all will fall right back into its place. We always encourage everyone to pick up a hobby, read a book or start a journal and this too shall pass.”
