With endless efforts to aid those who are tirelessly working to either treat patients or fight the pandemic, Automobili Lamborghini has begun to convert some departments in its super sports car production plant, located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, to produce surgical masks as well as protective plexiglass shields. To show their heartfelt gratitude, the masks will be donated to the Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Hospital in Bologna to be used in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

As uncertainty has become at the forefront to many asking the question of job security, this initiative has provided ongoing jobs to those who produce the interiors and specialty customizations to the Lamborghini vehicles. The sewing machines once used to stitch the immaculate interior leather for the beloved Aventador’s and Huracán’s are now being used to produce 1,000 masks a day. The individuals in the Research and Development Department are creating 200 units a day of medical face shields. Lamborghini is working closely with the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences as they are overseeing the validation tests of the medical devices made, prior to these resources being delivered to the hospital.

With scarce medical resources being made unavailable, Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Hospital being at the epicenter of the Italian Pandemic must be in great need but Lamborghini is there to lend a helping hand to its own community.

We, at O’Gara Coach, applaud the actions taken by Automobili Lamborghini as it shows that our worldwide community has not counted itself, as defeated. We are unified with the same sentiment to share hope and strong arms as we are all in this together, eventually to overcome this pandemic. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all and let us continue to stride with a strong mentality to maintain/regain our health and lifestyle.

Lamborghini Beverly Hills is grateful for our community, clients and wellbeing of our community.
