McLaren Beverly Hills recently took the 720S Spider for a cruise around the iconic Rodeo Drive. Grubbs Photography was on hand to capture the 720S Spider as it made its way around Beverly Hills, resulting in this beautiful imagery, showcasing the sleek and organic lines of the automobile.

The new McLaren 720S Spider comes with a retractable hardtop that will open or close in just 11 seconds. Operation is nearly silent and the top can be retracted at speeds up to 31 mph. There’s also an optional electrochromic glass insert for the top that can go from clear to dark at the touch of a button. McLaren’s signature dihedral doors now possess an enhanced soft-close feature to ease operation. Noise, vibration and harshness have also been reduced…even at the highest of speeds. Legally, of course.

Powering the 720S Spider is McLaren’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which offers 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. Combine that power with a weight of just 2,937 pounds and you have a 0 to 60 mph time of only 2.8 seconds and the best power-to-weight ratio in the class. Not only is the 720s Spider extremely powerful, it also provides a luxurious and smooth ride. Its Pro-Active Chassis Control II allows for 3-way suspension adjustment, as a result you no longer have to sacrifice comfort for performance. Bridge of Weir leather is used in the upholstery and every piece of the switchgear is made from machined aluminum- making it light and tactile.

The 720S Spider combines luxury and performance in one beautifully designed package. McLaren Beverly Hills will have a 720S Spider in the showroom, beginning Wednesday, March 13thand are taking orders for this perfect supercar.
